World Reading Day
World Reading Day is celebrated every year on April 23rd in over 100 countries around the world with a variety of events and activities aimed at promoting reading and writing. Georgia School has always been committed to fostering an interest in reading and developing lifelong learning habits in the students. On April 22nd, Georgia School came to the Mixc, led by Mr. Darren, Georgia's librarian, Mr. Viccars, the high school language art teacher, and Bob Yang, a senior high school student helping as a teaching assistant, conducted English reading activities. There were also a wonderful student skateboarding show and a charity sale! We celebrated a meaningful World Reading Day together.
