International Appreciation Day
International Appreciation Day is a custom that Georgia School introduced in an effort to foster cultural integration and exchange as well as to encourage foreign families to experience the joys of a peaceful world. At Georgia School, we value diversity, inclusivity, respect, and kindness. Our students come from over 25 different countries and regions. Join us and let's experience the international vibe at Georgia!
Through songs, dances, dramas, and musical instruments, students from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, South Korea, and other countries and regions around the world presented a grand and wonderful artistic performance, perfectly demonstrating the diversity of the "International Thanksgiving Day" and uniting people of all nationalities and cultures! With considerable excitement, parents watched the performance, occasionally pulling out their cameras and cell phones to capture the special moments. In the afternoon, after the head of the school, Mr. Cavon Ahangarzadeh, gave his remarks, the "Around the World" cultural fair got underway! Every class presented the cultural history of the nation it represented and shared a range of foods and activities to demonstrate the customs and traditions of that nation. By walking through the fair, students can also receive stickers from many countries!
