Their newfound knowledge is then put into action as they engage in a spectrum of experiments, activities, and contests, transforming theoretical learning into practical expertise. Georgia's STEM Fair not only displays innovative thinking and entertaining projects, but it also assesses student learning outcomes. Students in high school were required to present their findings in small groups. Teachers served as event judges by listening, asking questions, and taking notes. However, the children were already familiar enough with their chosen subjects to answer the judges' challenging questions.
