Graduation Ceremony
It was a day of great joy as Georgia School Ningbo’s graduating class of 2023 were awarded their high school diplomas. The whole GSN community came together with parents to express their love and support for their sons and daughters, with moving and inspiration speeches from our head of school, Mr. Cavon and our grade 12 homeroom teacher, Mr. Noah. The ceremony highlighted the importance of our graduates reflecting on the values they have developed throughout their time at GSN and applying them in their personal and academic lives, as they move forward to the next stage of their lives.
Graduation marks the end of yet another extraordinary chapter in our lives. With this chapter closing, we brace ourselves for the long journey ahead of us. As I conclude, I urge you all to be proud of what you have accomplished and congratulate yourself for your years of hardwork. But, be ready for what’s ahead of you because, now that the tutorial is over, it is time for the actual thing. And with that, congratulations Class of 2023. We made it!
-- Talia Xia,
Class Salutatorian of 2023
Thank you, GSN, for nurturing me throughout the years. In high school, your score is merely one indication of your hard work; it does not define everything about you. Nowadays, the division of labor is becoming increasingly specialized, and no one can excel at everything. The key to approaching success lies in persistently developing your personal qualities and focusing on your strengths. Tomorrow is a new day regardless of the circumstances, but success favors those who are well-prepared.
-- Bob Yang,
Class Valedictorian of 2023
Dear graduates, as you bid farewell to the halls that have shaped your formative years, carry the Lion spirit of Georgia School with you. Remember the friendships forged, the knowledge gained, and the experiences shared. Let these memories be a guiding light, illuminating your path towards a future filled with purpose, impact, and above all, boundless success. Congratulations, Class of 2023. May your journey be filled with endless possibilities, and may you forever remain proud ambassadors of the values we hold here. Go forward and make your mark on the world!
-- Mr. Cavon, Head of School
