GSN Halloween
Once again GSN celebrated that wickedly wonderful time of year, where children can become their biggest heroes or their most feared villains! Friday was a special day at GSN, with the whole school community dressed up as different characters for Halloween!
Halloween is a traditional American festival that occurs at the end of October. It has rapidly spread around the world and today many people from different countries enjoy playing around with creative ideas during this time of year. Halloween allows Georgia students to be creative, often DIYing their own costumes! Georgia’s Head of School even dressed up as a character from the popular game called, Among Us, while admin staff dressed as friendly ghosts. The possibilities are endless!
At Georgia School, the students became dinosaurs, aliens, princesses, witches, ninjas, and monsters! The day was celebrated with trick or treating, a Halloween show performed by students and teachers, a Haunted Hallway filled with candy, and other themed activities throughout the day. All grades joined in the Halloween spirit, contributing to the fun and scary atmosphere that everyone looks for in Halloween! Grade 7 student Jenny Zhang said, "I liked the show because there were a lot of students performing in different costumes. It was great to see the teachers in costumes too!"
