AP Program
As the semester draws to a close, to prepare high school students for the next stage of study in advance, and to let new high school students have an in-depth understanding of AP courses, Georgia school held AP course selection session. The teachers in charge of AP program gave the presentation, introducing the courses, course selection requirements, and AP exams.Georgia School is proud to be Ningbo’s premier college preparatory school, able to offer students a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) courses and onsite AP testing.
Advanced Placement or AP is a research based academic program developed by the College Board that offers students the ability to take college-level classes while still in high school. After a student’s successful completion of an AP course, an AP Exam is taken. Students scoring above designated benchmarks are awarded university course credit, enabling the student to complete university coursework, while attending high school at Georgia School Ningbo. AP exams are given annually in May and are accepted by universities in more than 60 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
AP students have the opportunity to earn college credit and save on tuition as well as time while broadening their chances of gaining scholarship awards and admissions into elite universities around the world!
