GSN's Athletic Program

On the afternoon of June 11th, the golf competition of the second National Games of Ningbo was concluded successfully at Ningbo Qixin Golf Course. Congratulations to Georgia School Students: Raul Wu, Henry Gong and Mu Li, for their stellar performance at the second National Games of Ningbo!

Georgia school offers extensive athletic program. The school has regular physical education class, skateboarding and golf compulsory courses as well as a wealth of sports elective courses such as tennis, frisbee, and football. In addition, it is equipped with first-class facilities, such as GSN's skatepark and golf academy. The school selects students of all grades to join the school teams, which is professionally trained by full-time Chinese and foreign sports coaches. It regularly carries out leagues with local schools and the school teams participate in professional events inside and outside Ningbo, some of whom won awards in the 2019 China Youth U Series Skateboarding Tour U15-U18 competition, Ningbo’s First National Sports Skateboarding Conference, and several additional regional skateboarding events.

The school was awarded the designation of Official Training Base. In November 2022, the school also was approved by the China Golf Association and awarded as a Class C examination unit of the "Youth Sports Skill Rating Standard", and it is also a golf training base designated by the Ningbo Municipal Sports Bureau.
