GSN Moving Up Ceremonies
GSN “Moving-Up” Ceremonies took place throughout the week leading up to the Grade 12 graduation ceremony. At GSN, Moving-Up represents a transition from one area of our school to the next: PreK to Kindergarten, Kindergarten to Primary School, Grade 6 to Middle School and Grade 8 to High School. We celebrate these significant milestones with our students as we honor their achievements and prepare students to take on new challenges!
All students received medals that recognized them as a Global Citizen, an Academic Achiever, a Truth Seeker, or an Effective Communicator. These are Georgia School’s four Learner Outcomes, invaluable traits that are integrated throughout daily school life and carried on along the years.
As GSN’s Head of School, Mr. Cavon, mentioned “All students are loved and cared for, and all have bright futures ahead!” At Georgia School, students are constantly challenged to do better, growing both academically and in character. The Moving Up Ceremonies are an important mark in the life of a student, and Georgia School makes sure that everyone has a chance to go through these rites of passage!
