GSN Spirit Week
Spirit Week is an opportunity for students to work together with their friends and classmates to come up with clever outfits, boosting school spirit and strengthening relationships among students of all grades. Spirit Week is a popular event at schools in the US and Canada, where students are encouraged to become enthusiastic and supportive about their school and its shared values. At GSN, the focus of Spirit Day revolves around the school’s 5 Agreements, which shape the child inside and outside of school.
GSN’s campus was enhanced with a lively, fun, and SPIRITED environment during the recent rainy days in Ningbo. Engaging in these simple activities reinforced the bonds of friendship and unity among students of various grades and teachers across the school.
Georgia School strives to create a fun and safe environment, where children are exposed to meaningful learning opportunities each day. Educational Research shows that those students with higher levels of school pride and spirit perform better academically than students that are less connected to a school. Spirit Week at GSN builds school pride, enhances academics and accustoms students to being active and enthusiastic in life. School pride helps foster a sense of belonging and inclusion amongst students and staff, which is one of GSN’s core strengths. Spirit Week inspires all school community members to be more invested, motivated, and happy.
